Defence allotments remain in estimated range
In a pre defence budget assessment of possible allotments for defence, an estimate of Rs 95,000 Crore on capital account and an overall allotment of Rs 2.30 Lakh Crore for the defence budget was made on 08 July. Finance Minister allotted Rs 2.29 Lakh crore overall and Rs 94, 257 Crore for capital account. Rs 1000 Crore for OROP.
