Holding elections in Afghanistan will remain a key objective for 2010, there is hope that this will continue to be maintained with a steadfastness that was also seen in holding of Presidential elections, though these were postponed to August due to the security situation. Now it remains to be seen what would be the fate of the parliamentary ones.
