Building a regional consensus on Afghanistan is very important and towards that end any reduction in Indo Pakistan and Pakistan Afghanistan tensions at the political level is likely to see a corresponding improvement in Af-Pak area where the space provided for terrorist groups operating cross border would be eliminated paving the way for the return of peace and stability. However as Pakistan is accused of by India and Afghanistan for using terrorism as a geopolitical tool in the region, there is limited scope for any change of heart in Islamabad in the near future.
