India’s Nuclear Treaties Dilemma

The United Nations Security Council Resolution 1887 which resolves to, “create the conditions for a world without nuclear weapons, in accordance with the goals of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)”, heralds the beginning of a difficult period for Indian diplomacy facing varied dilemmas on the country’s nuclear identity.
