The Jehadi Threat In Assam

The growth of the jihad threat, first confirmed by security-risks.com on its web site has been reiterated by Lt Gen R K Chhabra, General Officer Commanding of 4 Corps in a press conference in Rangiya, the HQ of the 21 Mountain Division on 22 November as reported in the Indian Express. General Chhabra confirmed that the ISI had been recruiting a number of youth in the ‘char’ areas of Assam and would create a controlling organization to strike at targets at its behest.
