The Bangladesh Rifles has instituted six special courts - two in Dhaka and four outside the capital - for the trial of the February 25-26 'mutiny' in the BDR headquarters in Dhaka and other BDR installations. The trial thus began in different sectors of the Bangladesh Rifles 24 November with a special court at the Rangamati sector headquarters taking cognizance of mutiny charges against five soldiers of the 12 Rifles Battalion.
